The desktop app store is here! I’ve already downloaded a few applications that I honestly didn’t know you could run on the desktop, and I have to say that I like it. The only problem is that I am going to have to yet again beat angry birds on a different platform.

Downloads automatically install in your applications folder, and add themselves to your dock for your launching pleasure. Looking through the store it’s great to see a lot of applications that are already out there.

Well it look like everyone looking forward to having Pandora running in the background of your iPhone whilst working on something else will be disappointed.

I’ve seen an iPhone running iOS4 and after messing around with it for a little while, I just have to say it’s sweet. I really am dissappointed that Pandora refuses to work with the task switching. Perhaps it’s because iOS4 was only running on a 3g? I guess they could possibly put out a new version on release day.

Holy crap I want one! This thing is just majorly sweet, and even the Mac fanboy haters can’t deny this thing is a huge step for tablet pc’s.

I was a little disappointed that it is running the Iphone OS and not OSX, but it look freaking awsome. The pricing plans are amazing for new Apple tech. and couple that with 3g. We have been having some discussion of you would be able to tether this to your IPhone and skip the 3g unlimited dataplan ($30 US) or if there is going to be some kind of a lock on it. I really would have like to have seen a dual camera on this, one on the back for pictures/video, and one on the front for video conferencing. That would have just been sweet, and I bet we will get to see something like that on the IPad 2.

Either way it will most likely be jailbroken and tetherable in a few days/weeks after it is released. It’s Apples time to shine with this new product.
